Hello, I am Anton Dierickx. I am 26 and I am an electrical engineer. When I was 22, I did my master theses about "Intelligent Lightmanagement" and so It begins. After my education I started working at an engineering office. I desgin electrical installations, data infrastructure, fire protection and of course lighting. Lighting became a passion. Next to my job I follow "the lighting world" very close. In my lighting designs I like to think "out of the box". Ordinary is usually boring. I have a lot of experience with Dialux 4.13 and Dialux Evo. I have a good knowledge of EN 12464-1:2021 (Indoor lighting), EN 12464-2:2014 (Outdoor lighting), EN 1838:2013 (Emergency lighting). I am Karoliina, an architectural lighting designer, and my aim is to make good lighting available for everyone. As a lighting designer my job is to find the right solutions for the lighting of each space, by choosing the correct fittings, their placement in the space and how they are controlled. I have extensive experience in light level calculations and lighting design, my past projects range from private homes to churches, from large office complexes to entertainment venues. I am physically based in Finland, but have spent a lot of my career in the UK and continue to work as a part of design teams all over Europe.
